Sorry. First nice weekend without rain in months.

Gonna go for a drive and forget about at the scratches discovered under the dirt that need a good clay bar treatment.

Nah he should get an STi so instead of blown head gasket, he can have a trailer of metal when the piston ringland cracks

I didn’t know you moved to Colorado!

Haha believe it or not Subarus have gotten pretty popular down here but definitely not Colorado levels. We bought the Outback because my wife has a station wagon obsession so it was that or the Jetta. Then I got hooked.

Where’s your pickup? I thought they were mandatory, at least 1 per household?

Yes. They are high on the list. That's the main thing letting it down now. I saw someone in the forums manage to get the Limited ones with the turn signals working... I'm debating that or just plain but white ones are sorely needed. One thing at a time.

I’m a little disappointed the answer isn’t “a dirty one.”

One of the great things about Subarus is that they are made to get dirty too.

Right. I was hoping you were gonna show your 2nd car covered in mud. Clean is just not a Subaru’s natural state.

Indeed. She had a RAV4 for a while and hated it. She tells me she doesn’t “get” crossovers. Her favorite car we test drove was a V70, but we decided we couldn’t afford it.

I’m still working on getting her to come around on manual transmissions.

Haha, sounds a bit like my mom, although I think she prefers American land barge wagons herself since she grew up with an Impala and a Caprice in the household. She’s said several times that she would love to have a converted hearse as her grocery getter which is something I totally understand, although I can’t imagine her (5'4'’ petite Asian lady) at the helm of something so huge since I only remember her driving a 740 after I was born. Also, she appreciates the ease of having an auto although there have been times when she’s remarked that “If I had a stick, that would have been a lot easier...” Anyways, that probably explains our current fleet of two Volvo wagons and an Ody.
